Change at the Top

Following Saturday's defeat away to Steyning, Matt Crabb tendered his resignation as first team manager, which the committee have reluctantly accepted. Matt has done a fantastic job, starting of course with that 9 game unbeaten run last season, culminating in a sixth place when the season was curtailed due to the Covid-19 outbreak.
The Committee want to place on record their gratitude to Matt for the dedication, enthusiasm and work that he and his family have put into the club, and we wish them all the best for the future.
The committee have acted swiftly this evening to appoint current Assistant Manager Ray Collier to the role of First team manager, assisted by Aidan McManus, Sam Willett and Physio Jake Ramsden, who will also be taking on a greater role within the management team.
Those who know about local football will recognise a wealth of talent in that lineup, and we all wish them Great success.
Ray's first game in charge will be away to Loxwood in the League this coming Saturday.
