Following tonight’s away defeat to Langney Wanderers, first team manager Arron Hopkinson has resigned with immediate effect. Assistant Manager Matt Crabb will take temporary charge while the search for a replacement takes place. Arron took over from Ryan Cooper just before Christmas, with the club on 1 point and staring down the barrel of relegation. It is to his immense credit that Arron never panicked in his first ever management role, and on the last day of the season managed to pull off the miracle that saw us stay up against all the odds.
For this, and for his tireless energy and unremitting work, we thank him from the bottom of our hearts. Arron has secured his own place in United folklore, and we wish him well as he peruses his playing career.
On the practical front, we are now Looking to recruit a new Manager
